TL Aggro™ brings the personality of vintage analog FET compression to the Pro Tools environment. At moderate settings, TL Aggro delivers smooth and transparent dynamics processing, perfect for vocals and acoustic instruments. When it’s cranked, TL Aggro takes on aggressive sound, instantly adding character and intensity to guitars and drum tracks.

 

TL Aggro uses advanced DSP algorithms to produce its analog sound. A unique feedback topology offers a program-dependent release time for more natural compression characteristics. Additional features help solidify its analog character. A tube drive module lets you add tube-style distortion for the right amount of analog fuzz. And a bass compensation section allows you to add that bass warmth back in for full mixes. All controls are easily accessible from the authentic vintage interface, which also features input, gain reduction, and output metering.

 

Complementing its analog look, feel, and sound, TL Aggro adds some important modern digital conveniences, including linked stereo operation (for preserving stereo imaging) and full side-chain support. 

 

TL Aggro is available in both RTAS® and TDM plug-in formats, and the TDM version supports MultiShell for DSP sharing. With support for Pro Tools sessions up to 192 kHz, TL Aggro lets you apply analog-style compression even as you work on the most pristine high-definition projects.
