Rounding out the new trio of American Dream Series guitars is the AD27e, a Grand Pacific round-shoulder dreadnought acoustic-electric crafted with solid sapele back and sides and a mahogany top. The larger body shape offers a bit more power and projection than its more compact siblings, generating a rich, dry midrange response with a strong fundamental focus and clear-low end power, an ideal combination for strummers or flatpickers. Inside, our V-Class bracing adds more volume and sustain while also improving harmony between notes across the fretboard. Appointments for this model include chamfered body edges, a single-ring maple/black/maple rosette, 4mm dot inlays in Italian acrylic, Taylor nickel tuners, a faux tortoiseshell firestripe pickguard, and a matte finish with a tobacco stain and a shaded edgeburst for the back, sides, top and neck heel. It ships with ES2 electronics and a gray AeroCase.
