Other “Hot Rodded” features include a slim, U-shaped neck with a compound radius slab ‘board AAA rosewood. Under the hood are three hand-wound “Fat 60’s” custom Shop Strat pickups (with a reverse wound coil in the middle position) to reduce the 60-cycle hum. Jumbo 6105 frets add a modern feel and extra bite on bends. “Clay” pre-CBS style dots and headstock shape add to the vintage vibe.
